Morning After

DLP_0165

I can’t believe how long it has been since I posted on this blog. Time really does fly by when you are having fun! I am going to do my best to post more regularly from here on out, but no promises. 🙂

I took this picture this morning while standing in my front yard observing the carnage from yesterday’s snow storm. It was one of those wet, heavy snows that came down hard and fast and brought down tree limbs all over the place. The old tree in this picture has already split off two times over the past several years, but managed to stay intact through this round of bad weather. Several of our neighbors were not so lucky and they spent the day picking up branches.

I took this picture with my new Nikon D5600 and its kit Nikor 18-55mm lens and edited it in Lightroom. I haven’t taken too many pictures with this camera yet, but I am really loving it so far.

I have a few other pictures from this morning that turned out really nice that I am saving to share later. That way I have subject matter to publish. 😉
